Environmental Policy Statement

As a specialist supplier of PVCu products to both the Public Sector and Home Improvement markets, we at Sash Windows (UK) Ltd recognise that our activities impact on the environment in a number of ways.

This policy aims to promote and protect the natural environment whilst improving and maintaining the built environment. As such our
commitments are:

To strictly comply with all relevant legal requirements, codes of practice and any other requirements which relate to environmental issues.

The company will ensure that good environmental practices are fully integrated into its Management and Strategic Planning Services.

It will manage its resources to save energy, reduce wasteage, promote re-cycling and avoid any damage to the environment.

It will ensure suitable controls on work applications which cause or promote the emission of dust, odour, smoke hazardous waste and/or any other unacceptable environmental and waste condition.

Continually monitor working practices to reduce the amount of waste created.

Co-ordinate and plan the most efficient delivery vehicle routes and times to sites to minimise delivery vehicle emissions.

Regularly maintain company vehicles in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.

The operation of this policy is dependant on the co-operation of our staff, sub-contractors, suppliers and our clients and it is the responsibility of all personnel to reinforce this message.
